Hiro Adachi is the main character on this history. He is a Japanese student who studies on a study year abroad programme. He he is 20 years old. He recently broke up with his girlfriend named Akiko, so he decided to go to Berlín alone on summer holiday.

Hiro is very sentimental, he usually remembers things about his past and feel lonely. He is also a serious and quiet person. Sometimes he doesn't know what to do or which way is the best for him. On the other hand, he is very fearful and suspicious with strangers. He is also very observer.

Hiro likes to read an American thriller and practice his English. He doesn't like people with mysterious personality.

His ex-girlfriend, Akiko, was on the same course in England as him and their relationship was perfect, without any fights between them. But then, everything changed and she started to get jealous about a dog. They broke up because Hiro has a photo of Yuki, his golden retriever dog, on his screensaver and that's why Akiko  got angry and said she didn't want to see him again.

I liked when he said that he is not going to be sad anymore, he won't look back and will have an exciting and adventurous holiday looking forward from now on. It's my favorite part because finally he took a good decision and realized what is the best for him.

Berlin Express Summary

Hiro is a 20 years old Japanese student who is on a study year abroad program. He has an InterRail Ticket, which is a ticket he can use to travel anywhere in Europe.

He is sitting on a train which travels to Köln and also reading an American thriller. There, he met a woman who asked him about why he is traveling alone. The true is that Hiro recently broke up with his girlfriend named Akiko because there was a photo of his dog Yuki at his screensaver.

When Hiro arrived to Köln, he decided to get the train to Berlin where he met a mysterious man who reminded Hiro of a shark. Unfortunately, the man sat down opposite Hiro, making him feel uncomfortable.

Suddenly the train braked sharply making a woman fell across the table and causing a confusion with both cellphones. Hiro read unintentionally a message from the mysterious man's cellphone and he started to thinking the man could be a bad person.

Erik Björson, the man, introduced himself and suggested he could take Hiro to the best way to get to Kreuzberg. Hiro accepted his offer and followed the Shark. Once on the platform, Hiro moved back from the edge of the platform but the Shark took his arm and helped him. After that, Hiro climbed the new train and left the Shark behind. The next morning, Hiro felt very angry for being afraid with an old man, so he decided to go to the police station.

My family

My family is the greatest thing I have. We are four members: Irma (mom), David (dad), Melissa (sister) and me. We also have a dog named Diego.

As every family we sometimes have fights but we always know how to solve a problem and stay together.

At dinner, we always talk about our day, friends, problems, plans, ideas, etc... we are always laughing.

Every member is really important. My mom is the person  who is always careful and hoping for the future. My dad is usually making a joke of everything. My sister is the laziest person and she is always sleeping. She is 19th years old and she is studying her 3rd semester of marketing at TecMilenio University.

My family and me love to have breakfast out of my house on Sundays and then we usually go to my grandparents house.

Paseo Tec

Paseo Tec is a little mall where you can find many stores, restaurants and places to have fun.

I really like to go to Paseo tec because you can have breakfast or dinner and meet people. You can go with your family and have breakfast at Delicias, a delicious cake shop, or you can also go with your friends and have dinner at Costeñito which is a very good restaurant of sea food.

There are many other things you can do at Paseo tec, for example there is a gym, an hotel and some banks, and also you can get your passport, pay services, buy clothes, get an ice cream, etc.

A month ago, Paseo Tec 2 which is a second part of the mall, was opened. There are many new restaurants, shops, beauty salon, veterinary, bowling and more.

I usually go to Paseo Tec because is 4 minutes near my house and there are many things you can do.

Mexican Tradition

.

Día de  Muertos is an important Mexican holiday  for catholics. It is celebrated in November 1st and 2nd.  The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died.

Specifics of the celebration vary with region, but something in common is that these days people  build private altars with many things called ofrendas, honoring the deceased. Some ''ofrendas'' are  sugar skulls, marigolds,  the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and they also leave possessions of the deceased.

My favorite place

Real de Catorce is a magical little town ubicated at San Luis Potosí, México. In this awesome place you can forget about all your problems, technology, the city and its noises, job, school, ... everything.

If you want to enter to this beautiful little town , you need to pass through a tunnel for almost 10 minutes on car or 30 minutes walking.

I love to go to this little town because there's so much culture and histories about the people who lives here.
You can go on a bus trip, go to the park, walk on the stone streets, meet awesome people, buy many traditional handicrafts of this region, eat delicious traditional food, etc.

The greatest place on Real de Catorce is the principal church. There is a big room replete of many drawings. Every single draw has an unbelievable story about people who have a problem and God help them, for example health problems. I think there are more than a thousand draws.

If I should choose a place to live all my life, it  will  be Real de Catorce.
